Salamabad: The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan has allowed a 14 percent increase in the prices of life-saving drugs and a 20 percent increase in the prices of all other drugs.
The increase in medicines was approved by the Economic Advisory Committee of the Federal Cabinet on April 14. According to the notification, DRAP’s policy board will review the pricing after three months.
According to the notification, the prices of medicines can also be reduced in case of depreciation of the dollar.
