Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Azam Khan took oath of office

Peshawar: (Dunya News) The swearing-in ceremony of the Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was done, Azam Khan took oath as the Caretaker Chief Minister.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Governor’s House, Governor Ghulam Ali administered the oath to caretaker Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan.

The KP government and the opposition had agreed on the name of Azam Khan for the caretaker chief minister. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali approved the name of Azam Khan as the chief minister on Saturday, January 21.

It should be noted that Chief Minister Mehmood Khan and Opposition Leader Akram Durrani announced that they had agreed on the name of Azam Khan yesterday. If the elders do not want, the matter cannot be completed, we have no authority of our own, we come to the formulas and instructions of the parties.

Akram Durrani had said that for the first time in history there are differences between the parties, there is unrest and inflation in the province, two, three names were from the government, two names were from the opposition, Pervez Khattak, Chief Minister and Speaker and their names in Peshawar. I am also grateful to the party, the names of good people came from both sides.

He said that we have the names of Azam Khan and Zafarullah for the Chief Minister while PTI has Awais Ahmed Agha and Sahibzada Saeed and it has been agreed on Azam Khan for the Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Azam Khan, who was sworn in as the caretaker chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has held other important positions including the chief secretary, he was also a former caretaker federal minister, Azam Khan was also the federal secretary of the ministries of petroleum and religious affairs.

Azam Khan, a former bureaucrat and serving as Chief Secretary in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, hails from Charsadda district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
