Four missing children aged 11 months to 13 years have been found alive after 17 days in a plane crash in Colombia.
According to the report of the foreign news agency, around a hundred military personnel participated in the search and rescue operation in the southern forests of Amazon, and the help of tracking dogs was also obtained.
Evidence of the presence of children was found during the search, after which the search has been intensified.
The lucky children were aboard the plane that crashed on May 1, killing three people, including the mother of the surviving children.
Colombian President said that after intensive efforts we have found alive the four children who were missing after the plane crash.
After the accident, the Civil Aviation Authority had expressed the opinion that these children had got out of the plane after the accident and went into the forest in search of help.
While searching the forest, rescue teams discovered pieces of fruit that had been eaten and thrown away by the children, while makeshift shelters constructed by the children were also seen.
