Rawalpindi: The brutal son who took out his anger on his old parents and brutally killed them after his wife went away to Mackay has been sentenced to 2 life imprisonments and a fine of 6 lakhs by the court.
According to Express News, this heartbreaking incident took place on June 9, 2022, when a brutal son Muhammad Waseem not only tortured his weak parents but also burnt them alive by sprinkling petrol on them, the accused was arrested on the same day.
The accused’s wife had gone to Makkah after quarreling over something and was not coming back, for which the son held his parents responsible and killed his parents due to his wife’s displeasure.
The Dhamiyal police took timely action and detained the accused and the hearing was going on in the court for several months.
In the hearing of the case today, Additional Sessions Judge Natasha Saleem sentenced the accused to 2 terms of life imprisonment and a fine of Rs.
The court said that the accused had set fire to his mother and father by sprinkling kerosene because the accused was upset that his parents had not stopped his wife from going to Makkah out of anger.
Judge Natasha Saleem remarked during the hearing that the crime is a serious crime, killing parents is an unforgivable crime.
