Rawalpindi: The involvement of civil servants in the violent protests has been revealed in which the Rawalpindi administration has decided to take action under the PEDA Act against the civil servants involved.
Proceedings have been initiated against three employees of the Municipal Corporation under the PEDA Act.
Government employees are being identified from video footages. The videos will also identify the employees of RDA, WASA, PHA and other departments.

Municipal Corporation Grade 11 Officer Idris has already been arrested while two Municipal Corporation Junior Clerks Haroon Rasheed and Shahid Raza Padri are absconding.
It should be noted that the government employees were enraged after the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
