The US dollar is at an all-time high in Pakistan, while the Pakistani rupee is undervalued.
The US dollar has also become more expensive at the start of business this morning.
After becoming expensive by 65 paise, the dollar has become 272 rupees in interbank.
Yesterday, the dollar closed at 271 rupees 35 paisa in the interbank.
On the other hand, Pakistan Stock Exchange had a positive start to business which turned negative after a while.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange 100 index rose 127 points to 40,860 before falling 33 points to 40,700.
Yesterday, the 100 index closed at 40,733 points.
