Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan tells the whole story of buying his dream bungalow ‘Mant’.
Shah Rukh Khan recently said about his house that it is my dream house but initially it was difficult for me to buy it but somehow I managed to buy it.
He further revealed that this house of mine ‘Mant’ launched my wife Gauri Khan’s career as an interior designer.
He said that because I was from Delhi and hence used to living in bungalows but in Mumbai apartments are also very expensive so as soon as we saved some money we were able to buy this bungalow.
He further said that this bungalow was beyond our means but we still bought it and then we didn’t have money to design it but we called an interior designer and the money he gave was from my salary. It was more.
Shah Rukh Khan said that I asked my wife Gauri Khan to design the house and from there his career as an interior designer started.
“We slowly bought all the little things we needed to design the house. It took some time but we did it,” he said.
“Doing this for Gauri at such a young age has helped her learn and now it’s easier for me as I don’t have to look for another designer and how to design the house,” she added. It is also easy to discuss.
