Karachi: The Sindh Building Control Authority has decided to launch an operation against illegal constructions in Karachi.
Director General Sindh Building Control Authority Muhammad Yasin Shar said that action will be taken against illegal constructions in Karachi, action will be taken against illegal constructions on residential plots without approval of the building plan.
He issued instructions to the officers and said that strict action should also be taken against those who build portions and additional floors in multi-storied buildings and panel hospitals should be restored.

Yasin Shar said that construction and sale of commercial, flats and units on residential plots is illegal under Sindh Building Ordinance 1979.82 Clause (1) 19, strict action will be taken against those involved, citizens who invest should know that In this regard, transactions between contractors, brokers and buyers are illegal, disciplinary action will be taken against those involved in the issuance of illegal sub-lease.
