Rawalpindi: Section 144 has been imposed in Rawalpindi and a ban has been imposed on double riding of motorcycles after sensitive organizations expressed fear of terrorism.
According to Express News, the fear of terrorism was expressed in Rawalpindi by the sensitive institutions, after which the administration has implemented Section 144 in the city.
According to the notification issued under the signature of Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Hasan Waqar Cheema, Section 144 has been imposed in the city for fifteen days, during which all kinds of political and religious gatherings and display of weapons will be banned in the city.
Double riding of motorcycles has also been banned in the city. Women, children and army personnel will be exempted from the ban on dual riding of motorcycles. Apart from this, the use of loudspeakers will also be banned.
