In order to end the political crisis, Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has expressed its desire to gather all the stakeholders under one roof while offering conciliation.
According to the declaration issued by the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), political parties, judiciary and the establishment have joined hands for the sake of the country.
The declaration said that entanglement in political conflict would only bring destruction. If the ongoing political and economic crises are not resolved, the problems will increase.
According to KCCI, political instability has put the economic survival of Pakistan at stake.
According to the declaration, the strategy is to reduce production costs to compete with competitors in the region as compliance with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) conditions has increased the country’s production and business costs.
According to Karachi Chamber, there are ways and means of economic survival of Pakistan without IMF.
The statement said that united measures must be taken to save the country because the Businessmen’s Group (BMG) leadership and members are of the unanimous opinion that the country’s survival is linked to economic survival.
