An interview given by Usman Mukhtar, a well-known actor of Pakistan showbiz industry, about his mother is going viral again on social media on ‘Mother’s Day’.
In this video clip from this old interview which went viral on the occasion of International Mother’s Day, Usman Mukhtar explains the reason for not staying away from home for a long time to shoot his projects.
In this interview, the host asked the actor that all the actors from Islamabad and Lahore now live in Karachi, but you come only to shoot for your projects, so don’t you think it is your career? Have a negative impact on?
The actor responded to this question saying that of course, it affects my career but the most important thing for me is my mother who is sick and I can’t leave her alone in Islamabad.
“Therefore, it rarely happened that I chose such projects that required me to be away from home for a long period of time to shoot,” he said.
He added that if I have to stay away from home for some time to shoot for a project, my sisters, cousins or nieces are always with them.
Usman Mukhtar said that I cannot take my mother with me and shift to Karachi because she has dementia and thus suddenly taking her out of one environment and bringing her to a completely different environment is not right for her health.
