Lahore Zoo was opened to visitors for entertainment three days later.

According to Express News, due to riots and violent protests in the city, the administration of Lahore Zoo had announced to close the amusement park for 9 days, but announced to reopen it yesterday.

The zoo administration says that the riots and violent protests caused a loss of more than one million rupees.

Director Azim Zafar said that the zoo was closed from May 10 to 13 due to security reasons due to riots and incidents of vandalism.

Due to the closure of the zoo, there has been a loss of more than one million rupees from the income received from entry tickets and parking fees.
