Lahore: Former Chairman of Pakistan Film Producers Association Mian Amjad Farzand has submitted his resignation to the Chairman of Punjab Film Censor Board Toqeer Nasir while deciding to leave the membership of Punjab Film Censor Board due to personal commitments.
In a statement, he said that he is a part of the Pakistan film industry and the situation that the Pakistan film industry is going through right now is in front of everyone. My prayers are with the Pakistan film makers.
He said that he is thankful to the Punjab government for making him a member of the Punjab Film Censor Board, but he cannot fulfill this responsibility due to his personal commitments, so this responsibility should be given to someone else.
It should be remembered that the Punjab Film Censor Board was reconstituted a few days ago and Tauqeer Nasir was made the chairman while Mian Amjad Farzand was represented on the board by the Pakistan Film Industry.
