A case of corruption has been registered against the officer who arrested Aryan Khan

Mumbai: Indian investigation agency CBI has registered a corruption case against anti-narcotics officer Sameer Wankhede who arrested Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan.

According to the CBI, Samir Wankhede and other officials demanded a bribe of 25 crores for not implicating Aryan Khan in the drug case.

Samir Wankhede was the zonal chief of the Narcotics Control Bureau in Mumbai on the night Aryan was raided and arrested.

Aryan Khan spent four weeks in jail and was later given a clean chit by the Anti-Drug Agency in May 2022 due to insufficient evidence.

Earlier, a special investigation team had claimed that Wankhede’s investigation had many flaws and he was transferred to the Taxpayer Service in Chennai last year.
