United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed met with his French counterpart Macron in Paris.
The Emirati president arrived in Paris yesterday for high-level talks.
The two leaders attended a dinner at the Elysee Palace, where they discussed the long-standing friendship between the UAE and France and issues of mutual interest.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Macron discussed the strategic partnership between their nations and promoting relations in other fields.
The two leaders reiterated their determination to further strengthen the historical relations between their countries.
Renewable energy, climate change and culture are areas in which the UAE and France want to promote cooperation on a priority basis.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Macron also discussed investment, economy, food security, modern technology and sustainable development goals.
The two presidents discussed the regional and international developments and emphasized the importance of peace, stability and cooperation in their countries.
It should be noted that this is the second visit of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed to France in the last one year. He also visited France in July last year.
