Reports of damages during protests in KP continue, 296 people arrested

Peshawar Police has issued a report on the damage caused during the arson and violent protests across the province while the available footage is being used to arrest the accused.

According to the report issued by the Peshawar Police, more than 42 cases have been registered and 296 people have been arrested against the people involved in the ongoing arson and violent incidents across the province in the last two days. 44 named in FIR while 252 arrested under 3 MPOs, all arrests were made by fulfilling legal requirements.

According to the police, more than 32 police officers were injured due to armed attacks, miscreant attacks and stone pelting, 106 angry people involved in riots and vandalism were also injured. 2 people died in Kohat and 1 person in Lower Dir.

In the riots, the miscreant protesters damaged 17 government properties and installations. Miscreants attacked Radio Pakistan, Army Check Post Barrier, CCTV Camera, Police Post, NAB Office, Election Commission War Safe City Project.

The angry protesters damaged toll plazas and government vehicles in Peshawar Mardan Charsadda, Chakdra Swat.
