Berlin: Two people were killed in a shooting at a Mercedes-Benz manufacturing plant in Germany.
According to Al Jazeera report, one person was arrested after the exchange of fire at a factory unit assembling the C-Class model. The 53-year-old man entered the hall at 7:45 a.m. and opened fire on two people, police said in a statement.
Security personnel detained the suspect in the hall of the plant and handed him over to the police, police said. According to the police, both the injured succumbed to their injuries.
No further details were provided in this regard.
