Peshawar: Thanks to the timely actions of the Pakistan Army, the broadcast of Radio Pakistan Peshawar was restored.
According to Express News, angry protesters attacked and damaged Radio Pakistan Peshawar along with various government properties during the protest on May 9.
In the attacks, Radio Pakistan Peshawar was set on fire due to which Radio Pakistan was damaged and broadcasting was affected. The Pakistan Army immediately swung into action and played a key role in restoring the broadcasting of Radio Pakistan Peshawar.
Efforts by the Pakistan Army include immediate restoration of electricity, providing more than 100 personnel to manage sanitation, repairing damaged areas and providing transport to meet immediate needs. Financial assistance was also given to Radio Pakistan Peshawar.
Pakistan Army has played its role in every hour of difficulty in the country and will continue to do so
