Karachi: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says that he does not support the abolition of any political party.

Foreign Minister and Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing a press conference in Karachi said that in principle, I am not in favor of declaring any political party illegal.

He said that such decisions are taken after looking at the situation. If any such decision is made, it will be made under duress. If any other organization would have committed the terrorism committed yesterday, it would have to face the consequences.

Bilawal Bhutto further said that PTI would have called for a peaceful protest if it wanted to remain a political party. If politicians are arrested, politics will suffer. We never celebrate it or share sweets. PPP is against NAB from the beginning but PTI defended NAB. The Charter of Democracy included the closure of NAB from 2008 to 2013. Imran Khan termed it as Makkah and started a campaign to save NAB.
