It has been decided to crack down on PTI workers in Lahore.
According to Express News, on the arrest of Imran Khan, violent demonstrations were held by PTI workers in Lahore, in view of which the arrest of the workers has been decided.
On the other hand, PTI leaders will be arrested under 16 MPO. Sources say that arrests will be made with the help of footages. Besides, the arrested workers will be transferred to jails outside Lahore.
All SPs of the city have been directed to ensure the arrests of active PTI workers while the police have been given a free hand to make arrests.
On the other hand, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has issued instructions to the Lahore Police to provide full protection to the business community in view of the bad situation in the country.
For this, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Provincial Industries Minister SM Tanveer, which includes CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiana and Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
Mohsin Naqvi said on this occasion that full protection will be provided to the traders and business community and no one will be allowed to disturb the business.
