Islamabad: Chairman PTI Imran Khan’s lawyers have been stopped from entering the police lines, later 3 lawyers were allowed to enter.
The legal team of former Prime Minister Imran Khan was not allowed to go to the court established in Police Lines, on which the lawyers decided to approach the High Court. Faisal Chaudhry and other lawyers left for Islamabad High Court.
Meanwhile, the central leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaaf have also been prevented from going to the police lines. Shah Mehmood, Asad Umar, Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan, Ali Awan and others were not allowed to go to the police lines. Officials say that only authorized persons are allowed to enter the police lines.
Later, Imran Khan’s three lawyers Khawaja Haris, Ali Bukhari and Barrister Gohar were allowed to enter the police lines. All three lawyers will follow Imran Khan’s cases. PTI provided a list of 20 lawyers while 3 Lawyers have been allowed to go to police lines.
It should be noted that a partial strike is being conducted today by the lawyers against the arrest of Imran Khan. Lawyers are appearing in subordinate courts only in important cases. The call for a complete strike today was given by the Lahore Bar.
