According to Express News, on Wednesday, during a robbery incident in an LPG cylinder shop near Lyari 36 tank stop, 34-year-old Abdul Azim son of Abdul Kaleem and 32-year-old Sharjeel son of Shabbir were injured when the bandits opened fire on resistance. Relatives and neighbors of the deceased said that the deceased Sharjeel used to work in the MPG cylinder shop. On Wednesday, unknown armed suspects were robbing the shop and escaping. Sharjeel and other shopkeepers ran after them to catch the robbers. At some distance, Sharjeel tried to catch a bandit, during which a pistol fell from one of the bandits, on which the bandit raised the pistol and fired, as a result of which Sharjeel and State Agent Abdul Azim were injured.

The families and residents of the area said that the robberies have made it difficult to live and after every few days the dead bodies of the youth have been picked up and the police have completely failed to protect the lives and property of the citizens if the police cannot provide protection to the citizens. So empower citizens to protect themselves so that citizens can fight armed robbers themselves.
