The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced that schools and colleges will remain closed until May 14

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced to keep all the educational institutions of the province closed till Saturday.

Adviser Education Rehmat Salam Khattak says that due to the unrest in the province, the educational institutions will remain closed for the week, the new schedule of the board exams will also be released after the week.

Chairman Peshawar Education Board Nasrullah Khan Yousafzai says that in the light of the orders of the provincial government, the annual matriculation examinations in 8 education boards of the province, including the Peshawar Education Board, have been postponed until next week.

Nasrullah Khan Yousafzai says that other boards of the province, including Peshawar, will release the new examination schedule by looking at the situation.

Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Department has also announced to keep all public and private colleges closed from May 10 to 14 in view of the current situation.

In the statement issued by the Higher Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the instructions of the Chief Secretary, it has been said that the hostels will also remain closed during the holidays.
