Chinese scientists have determined the exact age of the moon from samples obtained by the Chang’e-5 mission.
Scientists have claimed that the samples obtained show that China is 2.3 billion years old. That is 2 billion 30 million years.
China set foot on the moon for the second time in 2020 and collected rock samples to test the facts about the moon’s age.
In this regard, China launched the Chang’e 5 mission which returned with 1731 grams of samples. Through this mission, scientists studied basalts and confirmed that there was magical activity on the moon two billion years ago.
