Karachi: After the arrest of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan, due to the protest of PTI workers, Shariah Faisal became a battleground. A dozen police personnel were also injured while the police arrested around two dozen workers including PTI Sindh president Ali Zaidi and two members.
According to the details, PTI protested against the arrest of former Prime Minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan from Islamabad High Court premises like other cities near the nursery on Shaara Faisal in Karachi.

On this occasion, the protesters pelted stones on the police personnel and pelted them with batons and batons as a result of which around a dozen policemen including DSP Ejaz Ali SDPO Mahmoodabad were injured. According to the police spokesperson, DSP Ijaz Ali was shifted to the hospital for immediate medical assistance.
The citizens stuck in the worst traffic jam during the protest said that due to poor actions of the police, Shariah Faisal has become a battlefield and they have faced severe difficulties and hardships.

Arrest of Ali Zaidi and Shahnawaz Jadoon
Meanwhile, the police detained PTI Sindh president and former federal minister Ali Zaidi from near Kala Pul CSD and took him to an unknown location in a safe-colored Vigo vehicle.

Apart from this, the police arrested PTI member Sindh Assembly Shah Nawaz Jadoon and Rehan Rajput on the charge of rioting and shifted them to an unknown location after which Rangers security was deployed outside the Sadar police station.
According to the sources, the police have also arrested 23 workers of PTI from Shaara Faisal.
