Lahore: The School Education Department has canceled the Class IX paper to be held on Wednesday across Punjab.
According to the announcement issued by the Department of School Education, Punjab, the 9th class paper to be held tomorrow in the province has been postponed due to the country’s economic situation, the new date of which will be announced later.

According to the spokesman, public and private educational institutions will remain closed across Punjab tomorrow.
Lahore
The Lahore Board also announced the cancellation of the ninth grade paper scheduled on May 10, the new date of which will be announced later.
Rawalpindi
On the other hand, Rawalpindi Education Board Chairman Mohd Adnan has announced the cancellation of tomorrow’s exams and said that the new date of the paper will be announced later. Apart from this, many private educational institutions in Rawalpindi Cantt have also declared a holiday for tomorrow.
Later, CEO District Education Authority Rawalpindi announced the closure of all private and government schools in the district. While All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association also decided to keep schools closed tomorrow in the context of mutual consultation and government announcement.

Pakistan Alliance of Private Schools Pakistan’s Deputy General Secretary has announced to keep all private schools open across the country, according to the announcement, educational activities will continue uninterrupted. People should not pay attention to baseless rumors of closure of schools.

District Education Authority Chief Yasin Baloch said that the exams scheduled to be held today (Wednesday) under the auspices of the Rawalpindi Education Board have been cancelled, the date of which will be announced later.
‘Educational institutions closed till Saturday and papers cancelled’
In the light of the orders of the provincial government, matric annual examinations in 8 educational boards of the province, including the Peshawar Education Board, have been postponed until next week. Check the exam schedule conditions that will be issued.

The matriculation board examinations under the Board of Secondary Education Karachi will be held as usual while the Cambridge Board has announced the cancellation of the A and O level examinations on May 10.
