The Islamabad High Court stopped the arrest of 8 leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
8 people including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry filed petitions in the court to avoid arrest.
Those who approached the court included Faisal Chaudhry, Saifullah Niazi and Barrister Gohar among others.

The Islamabad High Court, while hearing the petition, accepted the plea of the PTI leaders and asked for a response on May 12, restraining the police from arresting them.
