European Union reacted to the arrest of former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan in Al-Qadir Trust case from Islamabad.
Spokesperson European Union Foreign Affairs one of his Statement I said that the European Union emphasizes that patience is needed in such difficult and tense times, only Pakistanis can deal with the challenges facing Pakistan.
The EU said the challenges could be tackled through sincere dialogue and the rule of law.
Today, Imran Khan reached the Islamabad High Court to seek bail in various cases, where the Rangers arrested him from the court premises in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

NAB gave the reasons for the arrest that Imran Khan was arrested in the Al-Qadir Trust case, this case is about illegal acquisition of land for Al-Qadir University, benefited from the illegal collection of 190 million pounds by the National Crime Agency UK.
Accountability Bureau said that after completing the legal procedure in NAB, the arrest was made, during the investigation process, call-up notices were issued to Imran Khan and his wife Bushra, both of them were trustees of Al-Qadir Trust. No notices have been responded to.
NAB said that the former Special Assistant Shehzad Akbar was involved and played a key role in the case, Shehzad Akbar and Imran Khan misled the Cabinet by hiding the document of the secret agreement. Adjusted in the private society case dealt with by the Supreme Court.
