Islamabad: The Special Committee of the National Assembly has decided to investigate the audio leak of former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar’s son from FIA.
The meeting of the special committee established by Speaker National Assembly was chaired by Chairman Aslam Bhutani, in which the issue of alleged audio leak of former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar’s son Najam Saqib was considered. During the meeting, Chairman Aslam Bhutani said that the committee will give the record of the proceedings of the House to the Supreme Court and investigate the issue of the audio leak of former Nisar’s son.

The special committee has decided to write a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs to investigate the audio leak of the former Chief Justice’s son by the FIA. The committee will issue instructions to the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the investigation of the matter from the FIA. The special committee of the National Assembly has sought a report from the FIA in 10 days.
Apart from this, the special committee also decided to invite Najam Saqib, the son of former Chief Justice, to the committee. In this regard, Chairman Aslam Bhutani said that Najam Saqib and ticket holders can come to the committee and give their stand on the issue. During the meeting, the committee members are divided on whether Najam Saqib should be called first or after the FIA investigation.

The chairman committee said that the investigation will fulfill the requirements of justice. This investigation will go in their favor. We are not against any organization or person, we are against buying and selling.
Aslam Bhutani said that the Supreme Court has asked for the record of the assembly proceedings. In this regard, there is an opinion that the committee should decide on this matter. Committee member Sheikh Rohail Asghar said that under which law the record of proceedings is being sought.
The chairman committee said that the interior ministry should issue instructions to the FIA today for the investigation. The special committee sent Najam Saqib’s alleged audio to FIA for forensics. During the meeting, Najam Saqib, the son of the former Chief Justice, and the ticket holder’s committee were divided on the summons. Najam Saqib should be called before the investigation or later and on the issue of summoning Najam Saqib and the ticket holder, an in-camera meeting of the special committee has been called on Friday.
