More than 100 FBR officers have submitted leave applications due to non-increase in salaries.
FBR officers have applied for leave from today till June 30 due to non-increase in salaries.
These officers include FBR Inland Revenue Grade 17, 18 and 19 officers.
On the other hand, the FBR employees have threatened that if they do not increase the executive allowance and salaries by 150%, more severe reactions will be expressed.
FBR employees say that salaries in Prime Minister’s Office, Supreme Court and many other institutions are 100 times higher.
In the leave applications, the FBR officers have taken the position that household expenses are not affordable due to reduced salaries.
FBR employees have taken the stand in their leave applications that the inflation rate has doubled, the current salary cannot meet the household expenses.
