Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has admitted that in the early days of his career, he was fired from his first film because of his girlfriend.
An old interview of Chhote Nawab Saif Ali Khan is circulating again in which he gave an interesting answer to a question about the hard work of his early career.
In an interview given to Doordarshan for the promotion of the film Kache Dhage released in 1999, Saif Ali Khan said in response to a question that many people talk about hard work, what does hard work mean? Sit in an auto rickshaw for 10 rounds, sit in someone’s office for 3 hours, that’s called hard work.
He added that I also had hard work but it was of a different kind.
Saif Ali Khan said that I was fired from my first film because the director said ‘Leave the girlfriend or do the film’.
Saif Ali Khan said that the said film was Bekhudi which was released in 1992.
It should be noted that Saif Ali Khan made his film career with the 1993 film Param Para while his first commercial success was Dilli Lagi Aur Main Khiladi To Anari Hai.
Saif also said that initially no one wanted to work with him.
