Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster film ‘Pathan’ has achieved yet another big success.
After the fall of Dhaka, ‘Pathan’ became the first Indian film to be released in Bangladesh.
The movie ‘Pathan’ is releasing in Bangladesh on May 12, said Nelson D’Souza, Vice President of International Distribution of the film.
He said in his statement that cinema has always emerged as a unifying force of nations, races and cultures, it plays an important role in bringing people together across borders.
Nelson D’Souza said, “We are incredibly excited that ‘Pathan’, which has done record business worldwide, will now be available to Bangladeshi moviegoers as well.
He thanked the authorities and said that Pathan has become the first Hindi film to be released in Bangladesh after 1971 and we are grateful to the authorities for this decision.
Nelson D’Souza also revealed that Shah Rukh Khan has a huge fan base in Bangladesh, so he decided to release his new super hit film there after getting permission.
It should be noted that the film ‘Pathan’ directed by Siddharth Anand has made a record business of more than 1000 crore Indian rupees at the box office.
Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham are seen playing the lead roles in this film produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
