Karachi: In the global market yesterday, the price of gold per ounce decreased by 19 dollars to the level of 2017 dollars per ounce.
Despite the decline in gold prices in the global market, the price of gold continued to rise at the local level and the price of gold per tola increased by Rs 500 to Rs 2 lakh 25 thousand 500.
The price of ten grams of gold increased by 429 rupees to the highest level of 1 lakh 93 thousand 330 rupees, while the price of silver per tola was recorded at the level of 2870 rupees after a decrease of 80 rupees.
