Karachi: National cricket team captain Babar Azam was injured while fielding in the fourth ODI against New Zealand.
In the match played against New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi, Babar Azam injured his finger while fielding, after which he left the ground.

In the absence of Babar Azam, wicketkeeper Muhammad Rizwan took over the captaincy duties.

After the doctor’s examination and first aid, Babar Azam returned to the stadium to field again and took over the leadership of the team.
Earlier, in the fourth ODI against New Zealand, Babar Azam claimed the world record for scoring the fastest 5000 runs while he also scored 18 centuries.
