Karachi: The Sindh government assigned the additional responsibility of Director General to Muhammad Ya Sen Sharbaluch who was on deputation in SBCA.

According to the details, the government of Sindh has been running the most important institution Sindh Building Control Authority under the bureaucracy for the last three years, Muhammad Ya Sen Sharbaluch, who is on deputation in SBCA, has been given the additional responsibility of Director General. While he is currently performing the duties of Director General Malir Developing Authority.

Sindh Building Control Authority is an autonomous organization where the post of Director General is very important. It is necessary for a DG to have technical skills, but the Sindh government has been running this institution under bureaucracy for the last three years under non-technical secretaries.

The last Technical DG was Ulad Dawar, after which Naseem Sohto, Shamsuddin Soomro, Saleem Khoro and then Ishaq Khoro were appointed. , issued construction permits on vacant plots but these officers did not have the technical capacity required for the post.

The newly appointed DG Mohammad Yasin Sharbaluch who is currently DG Malir Development Authority in Grade 20 has been given the additional charge of the post of DGSBCA in Grade 21 on April 26, but it is yet to be clear. Not whether they have the technical ability required for the position or not.

Currently, among the permanent officers of SBCA, there are three ADGs, Benish Shabbir, Abdul Hameed Zardari and Samat Ali Khan, who are 20 grade officers, but instead of permanent employees or officers of SBCA, the Sindh government has appointed DGs from the bureaucracy. and they are given a few months but no officer from SBCA is appointed as DG.

It is also necessary to have a civil engineer, but the Sindh government has been running the SBCA for the last three years under a system.

The Sindh government is also committing violation of court orders because there are clear orders from the court that officers cannot be appointed on deputation.
