The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) had a positive day of business today, with the 100 index closing at 42,241 with a gain of 148 points.
On the last day of the business week, the 100 index remained in a band of 360 points, with a high of 42,323 points.
17.81 million shares were traded in the share market today while the value of the business was 5.46 billion rupees.
The PSX market capitalization stood at Rs 6,356 billion after an increase of Rs 2 billion.
