Srinagar: A Darho helicopter equipped with modern technology of the Indian Army crashed due to unknown reasons during a routine flight in Occupied Kashmir.
According to Indian media, a helicopter carrying 3 officers of the Indian Army has crashed in Kashtoor district of Darho occupied Kashmir. Search operation has been started.
The search operation team found the remains of the helicopter in a river. The pilot and co-pilot were injured and shifted to the hospital where one is said to be in critical condition.
Earlier, while reporting the fall of the helicopter, the spokesman of the Indian Army said that there were three officers in the helicopter, but two injured officers have been identified so far.
The third officer was also pulled out of the river alive after several hours of struggle. An inquiry committee was constituted for the investigation.
It should be noted that this is the third helicopter of the Indian Army that has been destroyed in an accident in a month.
