Peshawar: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the price of flour per kg increased by Rs 5, after which the new rate of flour became Rs 171 per kg.
According to Express News, a bag of 20 kg flour is being sold at Rs 3400, a bag of ten kg is selling at Rs 1700. In the last two days, the price of a 20 kg bag of flour increased by 400 rupees.
According to reports, stocks remained limited due to the ban of flour from Punjab in the grain market. If the supply is not restored, the price of a 20 kg bag is expected to go up to Rs 4000.
