A mobile phone stolen from a visually impaired muezzin of a mosque in Gulistan-Johar has been recovered. After the details of the incident came to the media, the thief returned the mobile phone through the rider and assured to return the money.

On May 1, the accused had stolen a mobile phone by cheating the blind Muezzin and Naat-e-Quan Qari Muhammad Amjad. The bike rider, while handing over the mobile phone to the watchman of the mosque, said that a person named Hasan Liaquat had booked a ride from Gulshan Iqbal late at night. The person who booked the ride asked to give the mobile phone to Qari Amjad in Jamia Darul Hudi. After reaching Jamia Darul Hudi, when he handed over the mobile phone to Qari Amjad, he came to know about the incident.

On getting the mobile phone back, Qari Muhammad Amjad thanked the role of the media and said that when they buy something, they think for 6 to 7 days before they go somewhere and buy something when the mobile phone thief. After stealing and escaping, they did not see any ray of hope that they will get the mobile phone back or not. Due to the lack of mobile phones, his timetable for calling the call to prayer in the mosque and other daily routines were affected.

According to the administrator of the mosque, the alleged thief apologized while talking on the mobile phone and said that he will also return the money he transferred through the online app. The thief also requested not to run his picture on the media. They have already submitted a written request to the police for legal action.
