Bollywood’s famous actress Alia Bhatt finally made her debut in Hollywood’s biggest fashion event Met Gala.
Alia Bhatt graced the Met Gala red carpet wearing a regal white gown designed by Bal Gurung on the renowned fashion designer, embellished with 1 lakh pearls.
She opted for white beaded bangs with this beautiful dress and tied her hair with a pearl clip.
Alia Bhatt has shared some of her pictures and outfit details from the Met Gala on the photo and video sharing app Instagram.
She captioned her post saying, ‘I have always been fascinated by Chanel’s iconic brides who have been seen resplendent in Karl Lagerfeld’s brilliantly designed collections every season.’
“My outfit for tonight was inspired by the designs of Karl Lagerfeld and in particular the supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s 1992 Chanel bridal look,” she wrote about her outfit for the Met Gala.
“For my Met Gala debut, I wanted to do something that felt authentic and proudly made in India,” she wrote.
He further wrote that ‘this embroidery done with 1 lakh pearls is the love and labor of Parbal Gurung’.
Alia Bhatt further wrote that ‘a girl can never have so many pearls and such great jewelry made of them as I got even pearls in my hair’.
