Islamabad: The federal government is likely to present the budget for the next financial year 2023-24 on June 9 or 10.
According to Finance Ministry sources, the Budget Strategy Paper is likely to be finalized next week and sent to the Federal Cabinet, while the National Economic Survey is likely to be released on June 8.
The meeting of the National Economic Council chaired by the Prime Minister will be called in the first week of June.
The annual planning coordination committee meeting will be held in mid-May, the coordination committee will prepare the outline of the development budget.
