Bollywood’s dashing girl Sonakshi Sinha has described the role of ‘Dhad’ as her luck.
Sonakshi Sinha is going to make her debut on the OTT platform through the web series Dhaad, the trailer of the web series releasing on May 12 has been revealed recently.
According to an Indian media report, Sonakshi Sinha is playing the role of a brave female police officer in Dhad and she is very excited about it.
During an interview, the actor said, “I consider myself lucky for the role of Dhad, which is not at all like Dabangg’s Chalbal Pandey.”
He further said that so far in the film industry only the role of the male police officer has come forward, in fact we have rarely represented the women police officers based on reality.
Sonakshi Sinha said that currently I can’t think of any role of a female police officer that stands out, why only boys get all the benefits in this case?
He said that when the story came to me, the role inspired me, it was a character that I feel lucky to play.
The actress added, “My character is Anjali, who is quite real. This lady officer knows what she is doing and why.” She is going to do everything for justice.
She said that it is indeed an honor for me to play the role of such a female officer on screen.
