Verification condition for passport, identity card of Hazara community is over

Islamabad: The Supreme Court has abolished the verification requirement for making passports and identity cards of the Hazara community.

A hearing was held in the Supreme Court against the target killing of the Hazara community on its own notice. The condition of confirmation of MNA, MPA or Chairman Union Council has been abolished.

The Supreme Court remarked that the members of the Hazara community coming from Europe and Australia should not be harassed at the Quetta Airport. The Ministry of Interior should cooperate with the Balochistan government for the recovery of hostage Ali Raza.

Justice Athar Minullah inquired from the Hazara community’s lawyer that the purpose for which this self-notice was taken has been fulfilled, whether the problems of the Hazara community have been resolved. The Hazara community advocate said that the issues related to bank accounts and NADRA have not been resolved yet.

The Additional Attorney General said that the federal government has submitted the answer, all the issues of bank accounts, passports and identity cards of the Hazara community have been resolved, now some kind of confirmation is needed for the Hazara community to get passports and identity cards. no.

Justice Athar Minullah remarked that no citizen, especially the Hazara community, should be harassed.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan remarked that the federal government has submitted a letter regarding the resolution of the Hazara community’s problems.

The Supreme Court settled the case on the federal government’s assurance of solving the problems of the Hazara community. A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial conducted the hearing.
