A key commander of the outlawed TTP was killed in an operation by security forces in Dera Ismail Khan

Rawalpindi: Security forces killed a key commander of the outlawed TTP in an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan.

According to the details provided, the operation against the terrorists was conducted on May 1. During the operation, the main commander of TTP Gandapur Jabar Shah was killed while two terrorists were injured.

The slain terrorist was involved in attacks on law enforcers, religious groups and polio teams in Daraban and the slain terrorist was also active in extortion for TTP. This is the second consecutive success of law enforcement in the area.
