Peshawar: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4 people died in accidents during the rains during the last 24 hours.
According to the PDMA report, 3 people died in Lucky Marwat while one person died in Shangla. Apart from this, 2 persons were injured as a result of various accidents while one house was partially damaged across the province.
According to the provincial department, in the context of the rains, instructions have been issued to the district Antamiya, Rescue 1122 and Civil Defense to remain alert, after which steps are being taken to clear the closed roads and the situation is being continuously monitored.
The PDMA had issued a letter to all concerned agencies and district administrations on April 26, directing them to take precautionary measures regarding rains, hailstorms and floods. In this regard, a message has been issued to the public to exercise caution and report any untoward incident to PDMA’s control room at 1700 or 1122.
