International police Europol has taken action against the dark web market monopoly.
According to the news agency from The Hague, 288 suspects have been arrested in the operation against the monopoly market.
On the other hand, Europol from The Hague says that the arrested suspects are involved in buying and selling drugs on the dark web. More than 54 million dollars in cash and virtual currency were recovered from the arrested persons.
Europol added that one tonne of drugs and 117 firearms were also recovered in the operation. According to Europol, officials from 9 countries, including the United States and Europe, participated in the operation.
Europol said the suspects were arrested in Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States and Brazil.
