Menlopark: According to Meta, the company will soon offer an alternative way to save Jet History. Earlier, especially Android users had no other option than ‘Google Drive’ to save their chat history.

Similarly, if the phone didn’t have Google Drive backup, it would have been impossible to save it. That’s why WhatsApp is testing a method that will eliminate the need for Google Drive altogether.

Some users have reported that WhatsApp has selected them to test the new feature. These users will use it to inform WhatsApp about its strengths and weaknesses. In the light of this information, WhatsApp will make necessary changes before finally rolling out this feature.

According to WhatsApp news website WABTA Info, the feature has been rolled out in the new experimental version v2.23.9.19. According to the details, it will be possible to transfer chat history from one Android phone to another very easily and conveniently without Google Drive.

All you need to do is scan a new QR code to transfer data. However, WhatsApp has not released other details.
