Joining People's Party of former assembly members of PTI and PML-N from South Punjab

Islamabad: Some ministers belonging to Muslim League (N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from South Punjab joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

According to the statement shared on the social media website Twitter, these politicians from Saraiki Patti met PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Bilawal House in Islamabad and in PPP Join announced.

Politicians include Syed Haroon Ahmad Sultan Bukhari, Chaudhry Asghar Jat, Syed Jameel Shah, Malik Faiz Ahmad Khakh Advocate, Rana Intizar Ahmad, Mian Amir Wattoo and Masood Majeed.

Bukhari was earlier elected from Muzaffargarh on PML-N ticket and has also been a provincial minister. Asghar Jat was elected Member of National Assembly from Wahari on PTI ticket while MPA from Khanewal Jameel Shah was earlier a part of Muslim League-N.

Jameel Shah from Khanewal was also related to PML-N. Faiz Ahmed from Muzaffargarh was a part of Muslim League (Q) and Intizar Ahmed from Bahalungar left PTI and joined PPP.

Mian Amir Watto was earlier the central vice-president of Pakistan Kisan Ittehad while Masood Majeed Daha, who was the chairman of Khanewal Municipal Committee, belonged to PTI.

According to the statement, Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari congratulated the politicians on joining the party.
