Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Asif are creating obstacles in the way of negotiations while Fazlur Rehman is refusing to negotiate.
On the occasion of Labor Day, PTI organized a rally on Murree Road in Rawalpindi. A large number of party leaders and workers participated in the rally under the leadership of party vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi. In view of the reports of march towards Islamabad, Faizabad Interchange was sealed by placing containers, due to which the citizens faced severe problems.
On the occasion of Labor Day, a rally was held in Rawalpindi like Lahore and Peshawar under the leadership of PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi. Former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan Niazi, former Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Ali Nawaz were present in the rally. Awan, Aamir Kayani, former MNA Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, Sadaqat Abbasi, former provincial minister Fayyazul Hasan Chauhan and other leaders and activists participated.
Party workers gathered outside Allama Iqbal Park at the beginning of the rally where Shah Mehmood Qureshi while talking to the media said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is starting a movement to save the constitution of Pakistan and has given respite to the government negotiation team on their wish.
Shah Mahmoud Qureshi further said that a certain group wants to achieve their nefarious purposes by trampling the Constitution of Pakistan, the Supreme Court has interpreted the Constitution through the decision, today all parties of PDM are going against the decision of the Supreme Court. He said that Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal are creating obstacles in the way of negotiations, Maulana Fazlur Rehman is the president of PDM and they are also refusing to negotiate.
Addressing the rally participants, Fayyazul Hasan Chohan said that the rate of inflation last year was 11%, today the rate of inflation has reached 44% on Labor Day.
The participants of the PTI rally on the leadership of Shah Mehmood Qureshi turned the direction of the rally before Faizabad towards the President and on reaching Chandni Chowk, the rally participants will disperse peacefully.
On this occasion, the Islamabad administration had sealed the Faizabad Interchange by placing containers while a heavy police force of the twin cities was deployed.
