Karachi: In different areas of Shahr-e-Quaid, there was light and moderate rain on Monday.
According to Express News, on Monday, clouds fell in Malir, Superhighway, Gadap, Airport, Gulshan Hadid, Saadi Town, Bahria Town University Road and other areas. There are also reports of hailstorm in Goth.
There have also been complaints of power outages in various parts of the city after the rain, the Meteorological Department has predicted that the rain system will remain active in the city till May 2.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) is also expected to bring light rain with thundershowers, westerly winds persisting over South Balochistan and Sindh while the system extends to the North Arabian Sea.
In various districts of rural Sindh, the rain system may also cause rains till May 2. Heavy rains with thunderstorms are expected under its influence. Some districts of rural Sindh may experience hail and dust storm like conditions.
